Elf Deluxe Cards
The Elves of Grandilar are a complex people. Removed from most of there traditional natural lands they have been forced to adapt many of the ways of other races to survive. This was caused by conflicts with dragons and internal conflicts even before Deathday. The Deathday Massacre and the mayhem caused by the wave of Dragon Storms have hidden much of elven history. We know that elves and dragons had a rocky history and that elves were involved in the Deathday Massacre planning. Todays elves are unlikely to know there own history and and elven historians have created a history that makes them appear as much better than they really were. Ancient elven society was a caste society. It was built on the labors of Indentured servants. Ebony Elves and upper crust Fairilon Elves did, indeed, have good lives. The conflicts within elven society created an offshoot society called Haskalad Elves. These Haskalad Elves were directly allied to the necromancers who engineered Deathday. Many other elven societies were also involved, although the evidence has yet to be revealed.
